Mallingdown Oast:  LOVELY HOLIDAY COTTAGE ACCOMMODATION IN THE HEART OF SUSSEX.  Close to Lewes, brighton, the ashdown forest and the south downs

Mallingdown Oast is a beautifully restored oast house in a very rural setting, adjacent to our tile hung Sussex farmhouse. It has glorious views over the surrounding countryside and offers easy access to the South Downs, the Ashdown Forest, Brighton and Lewes.  It makes a great base for exploring Sussex, Kent and beyond, including easy day trips by rail to London.

The oast house sleeps four. Downstairs, there is a double bedroom, a bathroom (bath with shower over) and a large kitchen/dining room. Upstairs, there is a twin bedroom, a separate lavatory and a galleried living area. It has oil fired underfloor heating throughout. 

The kitchen area is equipped with dishwasher, washer/drier, fridge (with a small freezer compartment), oven, hob and microwave.

We provide an internet enabled TV in the comfortable living area along with a Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen which you can connect to your own device.

Outside the oast house is a small terrace and, beyond our garden, a grassed area (with table and chairs) set aside for its occupants. In the stable yard behind the oast house there is parking for up to two cars.

Notes:

Duvets, linen and towels are provided.

Use of our tennis court is available, by arrangement - please bring your own balls and rackets.

Upstairs there are some very low beams - please take care!

We operate a no pets, no smoking policy.

There is no telephone.
